Making the Right Fitness Decisions

The US has become known around the world for being fat -that is a fact. Millions of people in the US get a score of "F" when it comes to using fitness tips for motivation! You can learn all the fitness tips in the world, but if you do not take positive action each day, then it is all pointless. Actually, it can be the simplest thing in the world to start exercising. Just get up and move. You can easily begin, in a most humble way, by taking a walk after dinner, or any time during the day. Then, keep doing that by repeating it the next day. You can build that into something that will transform your life. Look for positive results; applaud yourself for taking that little walk each day. Do something, today. Here are some fitness tips for motivation that are designed to be put into action. Before we start, another additional piece of advice is to document your progress whether in a book or online. My friend actually set up a blog, downloaded a nice wordpress free theme and set about detailing his journey to fitness - it was to prove a great motivational tool.

First of all, take a photo of yourself and be sure to look at it at least once per day. Keep it in a place where you'll see it frequently. One spot you're sure to see it is on the bathroom mirror. This is not to discourage you, just the opposite, as you'll be replacing the picture every month. You won't want to stop exercising as you see improvements. Nothing is more motivating than seeing physical proof of results.

Being consistent with fitness or exercise programs means changing your entire way of life. It's been shown that creating new habits in your everyday life takes approximately three weeks. Knowing this, you can begin your fitness program with the intention of staying with it for a mere three weeks. You could round it up to a month! It's imperative to schedule your exercise sessions at a regular time. If you can exercise at a regular time for a month, you will discover you have a new, healthy habit.

Believe it or not, the internet can help you with fitness if you get involved in social networks. Facebook can be a great site to do this. Of course, not everyone has lots of Facebook friends. Yet anyone can join various Facebook groups, and some are devoted to fitness. So there's no excuse not to try this! You can regularly update the group on your progress. When you work out, remember to update your status. Your online friends can help motivate you. You can request support and comments on your wall. You will want to keep working out to impress your friends.

You can transform yourself a great deal by implementing the above fitness tips for motivation. Today is the best day to get started, and then just make it a daily habit.
