Bulking Up the Best Way



Getting that body worthy of a vacation at the beach isn't that hard. No doubt, women like looking at ripped, muscular men versus skinny, flabby ones. So why not get that body you've been dreaming about and be at the receiving end of those admiring, female stares?

Figure out your goal and set an objective. Formulate a plan and write it down. This way, your muscle building plans will become more concrete. Post what you wrote on the refrigerator door, or at your bedside table so you're reminded about it.

Next, you sign up for gym membership and start lifting those weights. After the initial excitement of working out, you later realize it takes time for your muscles to develop. If feelings of frustration hit you, remember the main reason why you're lifting weights. This will keep you on track in pursuing your goal having that muscled look.

Focus on your workout. Finish your routine. Don't get distracted when doing reps in the gym. Bring our iPod and earphones. Put on your favorite music if you feel that this would help you concentrate. Your strength will come from your routines. Soon you'll be adding more weights to your barbells and dumbbells.

If you see other guys in the gym who look like they could pass for Arnold Schwarzenegger, don't let it get to you. Don't allow other guys in the gym make you insecure about your starter efforts. After all, they started out the same way you did. Think about how hard they worked to get where they are now. And if they can do it, so can you.

If you find yourself in front of a mirror, don't be too critical when you assess your body. You might just feel disappointed that you don't have that muscled look. Don't be too hard on yourself. Instead, think positive. Tell yourself you'll have that ripped body someday.

Expert body builders will give you the same advice: body building takes time. If frustration sets in because you feel like nothing's happening, don't get discouraged. Muscle-building takes time. Be patient, and your muscles will soon show.

So commit to a plan, focus, work hard at working out. Getting buff and muscular isn't an overnight event. Focus your energies and see your plans through. You'll be having those shapely muscles much sooner than you think.
