How To Have The Perfect Pregnancy

You know you need to exercise when you're pregnant but finding out exactly what you can do and exactly what you should be doing isn't easy. Things like horse riding are definitely a no no as well as things like a power plate.

If you head down your local gym or sports center they're bound to have classes just for pregnant women. They're also going to have lots of gym equipment that are ideal for women who are pregnant. Things like yoga are ideal for pregnant women as they help strengthen and tone muscle but they're very low impact so there's no stress on the baby. Another form of exercise that is ideal for pregnant women is swimming which also has no impact but is still great exercise and again it's very relaxing. If you start to get too big you might find both swimming and yoga is no longer comfortable. Exercise is essential for a healthy pregnancy so you need to make sure you get some even if you're just going for a walk round the block or walking up and down the stairs a few times.

Even after you've given birth you should try and keep your exercise routine going if you can find the time. After all you're going to struggle to run around after a small child if you're out of shape. Although they're not advisable during pregnancy vibration exercise are great for after the birth. They help tone and strengthen the muscles and can have you back to your old self in no time. You also need to be careful about your diet too, you're not just eating for two you're eating healthily for two as well. Make sure you're getting lots of fruit and veg and especially dark green vegetables.
