Learn How To Fight A Hungry Appetite

Losing weight can be extremely challenging, especially for those who think theyve tried it all and got no results. The best natural way to do so is through a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. One way to help curb your cravings for those unhealthy meals is through an appetite suppressant.

While theres nothing wrong with thinking that youre hungry, what you put into your mouth is the issue at hand. Food cravings, even when youre not really hungry, are difficult to ignore though. There are so many weight loss pills, tea, and other products which state that they can suppress your appetite, but generally, theyre either Prescription or OTC.

The most popular prescription appetite suppressants are Diethylpropion, Phentermine, and Phendimetrazine. Doctors usually prescribe these to those who are obese (30 or higher BMI). Taking these can make one feel restless, nervous, and experience stomach discomfort.

Majority of OTC weight loss appetite suppressants have stimulants that cause nervousness and agitation, making them dangerous. Many people, however, have claimed that a natural appetite suppressant such as herbal supplements have helped them, such as the acai berry.

If you cannot ignore those cravings, learn to control how many calories you consume. Never grow dependent on appetite suppressants as this can pose a dangerous threat to your health. Here are some healthier options:

1. Drink an 8 oz. glass of water whenever you feel hungry and wait for 10 minutes.

2. Sip green tea to substitute coffee for your caffeine fix.

3. Consume plenty of leafy greens. For guilt free flavor, use balsamic vinegar and olive oil as dressing.

4. Drink soy milk and enjoy an apple or banana for your sweet dessert cravings.

5. Curb your cravings with all natural pickles (no artificial coloring or flavors as they have low calories and are healthier).

Take a calcium and mineral supplement after that as the pickles acidity aids the body in absorbing these nutrients better.

Appetite suppressants should only be an option, not a need. A healthy diet and exercise, on the other hand, will give you so much more satisfaction.
