Which Ab Machines Do the Best Job?

If you've checked out any ab machines, you know how many different ones there are to choose from. Exercise equipment comes in all price ranges, from under twenty dollars to high priced machines that cost hundreds. If you want to find the right ab machine for you, it will help you to read the following overview of the various types of models and how they work. The best one I used was similar (but not the same) as the coaster AB machine mentioned here it was in the gym of a hotel in Germany. It was the highlight of my trip (the lowlight was the amount of money I lost playing roulette in the hotel casino!)

The Ab Slide is a convenient, easy to use ab machine that's also one of the cheapest. If you buy into the idea that a machine has to be large, expensive and have lots of complex parts to be effective, this one won't impressive you very much.

But a short session with this machine gives your abs a workout that's at least as good as those you'd get on most other, more costly machines. This is basically a wheel with handlebars, and by sliding it in front of you and then back, your abdominal muscles get a thorough workout. While many exercise machines cost several hundred dollars, you can find an Ab Slide for around twenty dollars. Another advantage of the Ab Slide is that it's small and can be taken anywhere you go. If you're looking for a low cost and simple ab machine, this is one to think about.

The Ab Coaster is a popular ab machine that is made for both homes and fitness clubs. While it has good reviews from consumers for its quality, it's not the cheapest machine you can buy. When you use this machine, your entire abdominal region is involved. When you adjust the seat to the right level and kneel, and pull your knees toward your chest, the effect is a complete abdominal workout. The design of the machine makes it easy to maintain correct form, and there's no strain on other parts of your body such as the back or neck. If you want an Ab Coaster for home use, you can get the Home model which is less costly but with the same basic features as the Elite version.

Crazy Abs is one of the newest ab machines that is available. Already there are tons of people who like it. The name is really unjust because it does more than exercise your abs. But, you can also do complete lower and upper body workouts on it. For your abs, you do an exercise where you raise your knees, which is similar to many other machines you can find. However, with this one you also do a chin-up like exercise for your upper body, as well as leg raises for your legs. So for a for $150 you get a full body workout. However, most models on the market only concentrate on your abs. While ab machines can be helpful for improving your fitness and giving you the kind of toned abs everyone wants, it's important to realize that you have to work out consistently to see results. You also have to watch what you eat if you're trying to lose weight. Exercise alone will not work. Ab machines like the ones reviewed can be a practical component of your fitness program.
