In most cases, you can use cauliflower for recipes that call for rice. About 95% of recipes that call for rice can be made with cauliflower instead.

Cheese is a great snack if you are trying to eat a low carb diet. In most cases, cheese is free of carbs. Just be sure to read the nutrition label before eating too much. Some cheeses, like feta, contain a small amount of carbohydrates. Talk to your doctor or a nutritionist if you'd like to use cheese as a healthy snack in your low carb diet. For the most part the amount of carbohydrates in cheese will depend on how the cheese is made. Many people think that they only thing they have to do is follow a low car diet. This is the wrong thinking. While eating a low carb diet is helpful, you need to be sure that you are getting all of your nutrients and vitamins and that you keep your calorie intake low. One of the reasons that eating a low carb diet is so hard is that most of the snacks we crave will have carbs.
