Exercising doesn't have to be difficult and expensive

Exercise is a great to burn calories and keep yourself fit and your energy levels up, and the best thing is that often we do it without realizing it. Even something like doing the ironing could be classed as exercise and burns calories, you don't need to be running around a park to get some of the benefits of exercise. You can actually do a lot more exercise than you would think in the comfort of your home, or in your local area, you don't need to pay through the nose to go to the gym or duck out of exercising just because it is raining outside.

Below are 3 different ways that anyone can start to exercise from home:

Start weight lifting: That's right, lifting weights is exercise and does definitely burns calories. Plus it helps to shape and tone your body. You can't just jump into weight training though, you really need a professional plan to follow, read this Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle review for information on one you could try. There are so many different exercises you can use to train different areas of your body that you would really struggle if you didn't have a professional plan to follow.

If you decide to stick to it then you will need bars and weights and a workout bench, but to start off with get some small dumbbells and give it a try to see if you enjoy it or not. If you are doing exercise with a full sized bar above your body like bench press then you might also want to find someone to train with who can take the bar off you if you struggle!

Start walking: This is a fantastic form of exercise. People see walking as too gentle to have any benefit, but if you walk up a hill or across some fields then you will quickly start to get out of breath so you can see it is actually pushing your body. The only real way to do this indoors is with a treadmill. Yes they can be expensive, but there are cheaper ones which don't have motors in that you can get. The manual ones usually have bad reviews as they can be fragile and will rock and shake as people jog on them, but as you are only using it for walking rather than jogging which puts a lot more stress on the machine, then it should be perfect.

Dance: This is something that people enjoy doing and don't think of as exercise, so it is a great way to work up a sweat. To do it in your own home then you can either just put some music on an dance, or you can buy a DVD which shows you how to dance a certain style like the tango. If you prefer something more interactive then try the computer games that are out. You have a mat with sensors in and you have to try and replicate the dance moves that the character on screen does in order to get points.
