When it comes to fitness tips and motivation to get started or keep doing it, there are several ways many people tend to look at it. Most people have fears in one or more areas. So naturally there is the fear factor category of motivation. On the other hand, others prefer a more positive type of motivation. Yet if it takes fear to get someone to take action, then it's hard to criticize them for it. At least they have found something that works for them. Many people don't find the idea of exercising first thing in the morning very appealing. This is understandable. On the other hand, research has shown that those who work out in the morning have a better chance of sticking with a fitness program. Aside from exercising in the morning, doing it five or six days per week was a factor. This may sound odd, but you can't argue with research. Given this, you may want to try it out and resolve to exercise in the morning for a week. Just give it one week, and we believe you will like it. The reason is that morning exercise sets the tone for the entire day. It's a way of giving you energy and a feeling of being connected to the world.

You have to develop new daily practices if you want to start and maintain a fitness program. It's been established that it takes about three weeks to make a lasting change in your lifestyle. So armed with that knowledge, you can approach a new exercise program with the resolve to stick it out for just three lousy weeks. Or, make it just one lousy month! It's imperative to schedule your exercise sessions at a regular time. If you can exercise at a regular time for a month, you will discover you have a new, healthy habit.
