Are There Some Times That Are Better Than Others For exercising?



Most people who exercise will find themselves wondering when the ultimate time for exercise really is. Considering how busy life can get this is understandable. It's most important to start with something whether you are seasoned or just starting out. You have to do with what you have, even if that means only a few times a week its better than not at all. With the way the economy is people are working multiple jobs. Weekends may be your only available time for exercise. Of course this is better than nothing for your body.

Some people love fitness exercises during the morning for their own particular reasons. For example, they find that it really wakes them up and gets their energy and blood in full swing for the day. A lot of times people feel so good after a morning work-out that they feel like anything can be taken on. When you get your blood circulating at a high level, then you will be much more alert and focused well into the day. While other people are trying to wake-up before mid-morning, you will have left them in the dust.

If you want to exercise in the morning, and have not actually started yet - take heart to this information. Research has shown that we can teach our internal, circadian rhythm, clocks to adjust to just about any schedule we choose. Of course it may take a little while, but that will not take very long. So if you are wondering how you can do it, then just be patient and keep doing it. Your own body internal clock will become "set" to exercise early in the morning, and you will be fine with it soon.


The most ideal time to exercise is in the afternoon, and preferably a bit later in the day. There are many biological reasons why that is so. It seems our bodies are acclimated to activity from the day, and many of our functions are just prime for a hard work-out. Plus, it is an injury-friendly time to work out since our bodies are good and warmed-up. But - there is always a 'but', that is not always possible for some people. If you find yourself wanting to start a fitness workout program, but your schedule is looking fairly mean and ugly, then do not despair. The best approach is figure out a time to do it, then just do it at that time. Your body will get used to it in about three weeks to a month. The issue of the best time to exercise all comes down to when your schedule and life is best for it. Only you know that, so you are like all the rest of us. You have to do things when they can be fit into our lives.
