To avoid muscle strain one could use a good external keyboard which is placed rightly at the elbow level and in this way shoulders remain relaxed while typing .

To have a good standing posture it would advisable to wear flat shoes as they dont mess with one's body balance. Remember to also keep your lower back slightly arched inward, feet at shoulder-width apart, shoulders back and chin up. Its never late to know how to correct your posture, it will certainly save you from a long list of ailments.
