Ultrasound imaging or sonography is the use of sounds which are undetectable by the human ear. Job positions may be hard to find as most hospitals employ only several technicians. However, those who could get a job as UTZ technicians earn as much as the salary of Registered Nurses. Annual salary of some states for UTZ technicians can start from $30,000 for beginning technicians up to $80,000 for experienced ones. That's considerably better than most professions.
